INTERESTING FACTS:
Botticelli studied under Filippo Lippi alongside Filippino Lippi. He also worked in Verrocchio’s workshop with Leonardo da Vinci.
He painted frescoes in the Sistine Chapel with Perugino, Domenico Ghirlandaio and Filippino Lippi for Pope Sixtus IV.
Botticelli was commissioned by the Medici family to paint many of their portraits and biblical scenes, including The Adoration of the Magi.

Mystic Nativity, Adorations of the Magi, Mars and Venus, and Birth of Venus.
